Thanksgiving might be in the rearview mirror, but you can still take time to think about all the things in your life that you’re grateful for. By doing this, you focus your mind on all the things in your life that are going well. It’s easy, it doesn’t take much time, and it really works!


Slow down


When you’ve got a busy schedule, it’s easy to let that busy mentality seep into the rest of your life. That’s why you might find yourself eating meals quickly, doing housework as quickly as possible and hustling from work to home to the gym and back. Living a fast-paced life like this leaves no time for mindfulness, and it allows stress to build. Try to slow down when you’re able to, because the truth is that you probably don’t have to do everything as quickly as possible.


Walk more


Whenever possible, try to find time to walk places. Whether it’s to the store down the street or as part of your exercise routine, walking is a much more productive way to relax than sitting at home and watching TV. You’ll be able to clear your mind and burn a few calories while you’re at it.
