Check out the post below, and please be sure to share this post with your friends and neighbors at Metropole Greenway Plaza apartments.
Vegetarians, rejoice! Burger-chan puts an incredible amount of care and passion into their veggie burgers. Unlike other burger restaurants that seem to just slap a veggie patty on a bun and call it a day, burger-chan seems to care about the quality of the veggie burgers just as much as any of their traditional burgers. The mushroom swiss burger, for example, is covered in caramelized onions, scallion-aioli and tons of sauteed mushrooms. The veggie burger itself is a fried eggplant burger that’s juicy, crispy, and super flavorful. You order your food by filling out a clipboard with all the ingredients you want, so everything is totally customized and fresh off the grill. If you’re a vegetarian or a burger-lover, check this place out!
There are dozens (if not hundreds) of Chinese food restaurants in Houston. Most of them follow the same script of either buffet-style Chinese food or to-go food. Pepper Twins put a modern twist on Chinese food, serving lunch and dinner fare in a lovely setting in the Greenway Plaza. Yelp reviewers recommend starting your meal off with an order of the seasoned green beans, then moving on to the fried chicken, and the Mr. and Mrs. Smith beef dish. It’s all good, so order as much as you can next time you visit Pepper Twins.
Everyone on Yelp raves about the jalapeno bread in their reviews. Little Jimmy’s Deli might be the only eatery in the Greenway Plaza with jalapeno bread. It tastes best when paired with one of their signature gyros, or with a ham & cheese sandwich. Little Jimmy’s is fairly new to the area, so check this place out and show a local business some local love. They also serve breakfast tacos and other breakfast items all day, including waffles and French toast. If you’re one of those people that craves breakfast at strange times, Little Jimmy’s Deli should quickly become your new favorite spot in town.
It’s hard to find food much fresher than the just-picked-from-the-garden ingredients at Borgo Food Station. This little corner shop is perfect for both quick lunches and grab-n-go dinners. They specialize in fresh sandwiches, like the caprese sandwich with thick slices of cheese and fresh tomatoes. It’s easy to swing by Borgo Food Station after work and pick something up for dinner, too. They have ready-made pastas and salads that you can pop in the microwave if you want to avoid the hassle of cooking your own meal at the end of the day. Also, a little birdie told us that Borgo Foot Station has some of the best espresso drinks in Greenway Plaza, so stop by if you need a pick-me-up in the morning. Borgo Food Station — good for any time of day!
