Welcome to another brand new blog post from your community of apartments in Upper Kirby! This week, we’ll be talking about some of the best restaurants in the neighborhood. If you ask us, the best way to figure out if a restaurant is good or not is to read the reviews. Yelp has really changed the game when it comes to restaurants. Imagine trying to figure out which restaurant to go to 20 years go. Unless you’d gotten a restaurant recommendation from a friend, you’d just have to hope that the restaurant was good. <\/b><\/p>\n

Luckily, we don’t have to rely on hope anymore. In this week’s post, we’ll be sharing some of the top-rated Yelp reviews from the best restaurants in the Upper Kirby neighborhood. Check out the list of reviews below, and please be sure to share the link to this post with your friends and neighbors at your Greenway Plaza apartments<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Fat Bao<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n “The crab daddy was everything! The crab is battered and fried perfectly and the spicy mayo gave this bao some heat and flavor.”<\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Once you take one look at the images of the bao sandwiches at Fat Bao, you’ll cancel your lunch plans and make a beeline for this Upper Kirby eatery. As the review above mentioned, the most popular bao sandwich is the crab sandwich, but this place can also accommodate people with shellfish allergies — don’t worry! A lot of reviewers mention the Bulgogi Bao as one to get, and we recommend buying more bao’s than you think you’ll eat because they tend to be on the small side.<\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Grace’s<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n “This is the perfect place for a date, and it’s always poppin' so it gets a little loud. The restaurant itself is set up like a house which is really cute and quaint, with fireplaces and doilies on the wall.”<\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The food at Grace’s is some of the best southern comfort food in Houston, but incredible ambiance is what really sets this place apart. It’s one thing to have some incredible southern food, it’s another thing to eat that food in a home that looks like your southern grandmother’s house. The house at Grace’s is super cute — just like the reviewer said — and you’ll spend as much time looking at the decor as you do focusing on your meal. <\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mia’s Table<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Texas size portions all at the right price. Plus kids of all ages get to enjoy free ice cream great grown up drinks and kid friendly.”<\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This is one of the mmore quaint, down home restaurants on our list. Mia’s Table specializes in simple meals like pulled pork sandwiches and chicken fried steak, but they sure do know how to make these meals well. As the reviewer mentioned, the portions are gigantic. You’ll get what you pay for, and then some.
